2026 Club Championships
Men and Ladies 72 holes stroke Club Championships.
In 2026, and future years, the club championships will be played over 4 rounds, instead of 3 as in recent years.
Years ago, the club originally played 4 rounds in the club championships; it later became a 3-round championship, mainly because the limited number of members at the time were often involved in other big events that clashed on certain weekends
As this is the most prestigious event on the club’s calendar and the club now has a much larger member base, the committee has decided it warrants reverting to a 4-round championship, as most other golf clubs play.
When you register for the first day, you will be asked to pay $50 total for all four rounds. This makes planning much easier in the golf system, as everyone is entered at the start. Plus, the club is offering a good deal for the four rounds.
It’s highly likely the new booking system will be in place for this event as we move away from Golf Genius (stay tuned).
Saturday 28th February – Round 1
(pay $50 total for all 4 rounds on day 1)
Sunday 1st March – Round 2
Saturday 7th March – Round 3
Sunday 8th March – Round 4 (seeded draw)
All players competing in the final round must play in the seeded draw. Playing outside of the seeded draw will disqualify you from the championships.

HELP NEEDED
Coolamatong is hosting one of the region’s biggest ladies’ competitions in March and needs help from all members.
As we know, the ladies have been massively involved in all big club events, particularly through catering, and now the men need to offer their help and support.
See the attached sheet.
A sign-up sheet is posted on the whiteboard at the clubhouse. Please add your name where you can help out.
Can you help with:
1. Allow use of your own cart for the days of competition.
2. Help with BBQ on March 18 – 19
3. Be a spotter on course for March 18-19
4. Cooma GC has offered their carts, but we need to transport them to Coolamatong on March 16-17 (and return after the event).
